Practice Schedule

We usually hold a Club “Top Gun” Tournament and potluck on the third Sunday of each month!

 

2018

LOCATION: Head of the Lakes Fairground 4H building

 

July 8 and 29 (NO Club “Top Gun” Monthly Contest for points & Potluck this month).

(July 13, 14, & 15 are the dates for the Wisconsin CFDA State Championship, located at the Fairgrounds in Superior. We won’t be able to use the 4H Building  yet on July 22.)

August 12 and 19 (Club “Top Gun” Monthly Contest for points & Potluck).

(NO practice August 5 as many BRB members will be shooting in the South Dakota State and Territorial Championships in Mitchell, SD.)

(NO practice August 26 to allow our members to attend the North Star Bandits’ Minnesota CFDA State Championship in Owatonna.)

Sept 2, 9 (Club “Top Gun” Monthly Contest for points & Potluck), and 30.

(NO practice Sept 16 to allow our members to attend the Nebraska CFDA State and Territorial Championship in Valentine, NE.)

(NO practice Sept 23 to allow our members to attend the Prairieville Desperados Jackpot Shoot in Waukesha, WI.)

For youth 16 yrs old and under — parents need to be present.

 

Weekly Practices:

Sundays in the 4-H Building

Head of the Lakes Fairgrounds

Superior, Wisconsin

1:00 PM:  Range set up & get holsters on

1:30 PM: Shooting starts

 

Expectations:

Each member will be expected to participate in the following:

  • Set up: this means arriving  early so that shooting can start on time.
  • Tear down (clean up): this means staying a little later
  • Running the timer (scoring): each member should take time to learn how to score and run the timers
  • Hand judging: each member will need to become familiar with the CFDA rules and learn to hand judge.
